BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two new Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office employees, Brendan Zackoski and David Lively were approved this week by members of the Raleigh County Commission.
The development came just minutes into Tuesday’s Regular Session meeting of the Raleigh County Commission and saw both new potential employees presented as having completed all necessary pre-employment prerequisites. It was also confirmed that the budget for the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office was such that the new additions could be accommodated.
A motion for approval for consideration of each new employee was seconded by members of the commission, and both Zackoski and Lively were ultimate approved for employment with the sheriff’s office by members of the commission.
Tuesday’s meeting also saw the approval of consideration of having the previously implemented Burn Ban lifted. This notion was supported by Raleigh County Fire Chief’s Association President and Raleigh County Fire Levy Coordinator Jason Whiting, who was unable to be present for the meeting.
