RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One Raleigh County elementary school has canceled classes for Friday.
According to Raleigh County Schools, Cranberry-Prosperity Elementary School will be closed today, Friday, January 31, 2025.

The reason for the closure is due to a gas leak that affects the hot water and heating of the facility.
Officials have not provided a cause of the gas leak or an estimated restoration time.
As of Thursday night, no other closures for Raleigh County have been announced.
