RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A domestic incident turned dangerous on April 9, 2025, when deputies responded to a threats complaint involving a firearm at a residence in the county.
Upon arrival, authorities made contact with three individuals. Deputies immediately noticed that Massey was openly carrying a black revolver on his right hip.
Inside the home, deputies located the alleged victim, who stated that Massey had become enraged during a verbal argument, accusing her of infidelity. She claimed that the dispute escalated when Massey approached her in a threatening manner and told her he was “going to kill her.”
She told officers she feared for her life, especially because Massey had the revolver on his hip during the confrontation. While Massey denied making any direct threats, he admitted to being emotionally upset over the situation.
Massey is charged with domestic assault.
