RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County man is facing sexual assault charges.
According to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department, between August 1, 2019, and May 1, 2021, Charles Andrew Mills, 21, from Odd, WV, allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old girl. Â During an interview, the victim said that Charles Mills engaged in sexual intercourse twenty or more times.
On June 28, 2021, Mills admitted to knowing the victim was a juvenile. Â He also told investigators that he had sexual intercourse with the victim on three separate occasions.
The sexual acts occurred in Raleigh County.
Mills faces three counts of third-degree sexual assault charges. Â He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 75,000 dollar bond.
