BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Families in Raleigh County are invited to celebrate spring with a free Easter Egg Hunt at Fitzpatrick Park on April 19, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Hosted by Raleigh County Parks & Recreation, this annual event promises an afternoon of festive fun for children of all ages.
Egg Hunt Details
This year’s event will take place on Fitzpatrick Park’s softball fields, featuring three designated search areas for different age groups. Over 1,500 Easter eggs will be scattered across the fields—equating to roughly one egg every 24 square feet—ensuring plenty of opportunities for children to fill their baskets.
Adding to the excitement, each search area will contain two special “Golden Eggs” with surprise grand prizes inside.
A Special Thank You to the Community
The Easter Egg Hunt is completely free as a way for Raleigh County Parks & Recreation to express appreciation for the community’s ongoing support. Families are encouraged to bring their own baskets or bags to collect eggs and keep an eye out for a special guest—the Easter Bunny is expected to make an appearance!
