RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — Raleigh County is updating its 2012 Comprehensive Plan and is seeking input from residents to help shape the community’s future.
The comprehensive plan serves as a roadmap for addressing issues affecting the quality of life for those who live and work in the county. It will include a detailed action plan outlining steps that local government and other partners can take to address identified concerns and guide future growth and development.
To ensure that citizen voices are heard, the county has launched a public survey designed to gather feedback on key issues. The survey is brief and will help local officials determine the most pressing concerns and priorities for the county’s future.
The survey is available online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RaleighCompPlan and will be open until Monday, April 14, 2025. Hard copies are also available at the County Courthouse for those who prefer to complete a paper version.
Community participation is crucial in shaping policies and projects that will impact the county for years to come. Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the survey and share their thoughts on how to improve Raleigh County.
