RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Sheriff Frank Priddy has followed through on a campaign promise to establish a sheriff’s detachment in the Clear Fork area.
The new Clear Fork Detachment, located at Clear Fork Elementary School, will have a deputy stationed on-site Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Residents can visit the office to file complaints, discuss community concerns, or meet with the deputy serving their area.
Sheriff Priddy said the move fulfills his commitment to make law enforcement more accessible to rural parts of the county and to build stronger relationships with residents.
“Building relationships within our communities remains a top priority for the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office,” the department said in a statement.
“Progress takes time, but together we can continue strengthening those connections and making a difference across Raleigh County.”
