BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office has received $2,006.24 from the auction of forfeited firearms, according to Sheriff Frank Priddy.
The check was presented by Larry Pack of the West Virginia Treasurer’s Office. The funds were generated through the state’s auction of forfeited firearms and will be used to support the operations and needs of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Priddy thanked Pack for presenting the check and expressed appreciation to West Virginia Delegates Roland Roberts and John Jordan, along with Raleigh County Commissioner Greg Duckworth, for attending the presentation.
“We are grateful for the continued support from our state and local leaders as we work to serve and protect the citizens of Raleigh County,” the sheriff’s office said.
