RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Seven new deputies were officially sworn in at a ceremony held today in front of Judge Darl Poling, the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office announced.
“Sheriff Frank Priddy, Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton, and the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office are proud to have these new deputies join our team as they begin their journey serving the citizens of Raleigh County. They will be a tremendous asset in strengthening our department and continuing our mission of service and protection,” the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Of the seven deputies, four are already certified law enforcement officers, while the remaining three will receive training at the West Virginia State Police Academy.
The new deputies are James Quesenberry, Kenneth Lilly, Henery Lundy, Joseph Payne, Emily Wilson, Aaron Ball, and Dylan Ritchie.
The sheriff’s office also expressed gratitude to local officials for their support: “We would also like to thank the Raleigh County Commission and Judge D. Poling for their continued support.”
