Charmco – No. 1 ranked Greenbrier West had little trouble with Montcalm Thursday night sweeping the Generals to win their Class A Region 3 co-final clash.
The Cavaliers defeated the Mercer County visitors, 25-9, 25-5 and 25-7 to head back to the state tournament for the eighth consecutive year.
The state tournament for Class A is scheduled to start Tuesday inside the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Times and dates are to be announced Friday.
