HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A repeat shoplifter was arrested for a third time after stealing a Yoo-hoo and cheese stick from a store.
On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, police were dispatched to One Stop on Pleasant Street regarding a shoplifting complaint. When police arrived, the cashier said a man, later identified as Daniel Wayne Johnson, was seen on video footage taking a Yoo-hoo and cheese stick.
The total cost of the items was $4.28. Police say Johnson had his first conviction back in February out of Raleigh County. His second conviction occurred on March 28 out of Summers County.
Since this was Johnson’s third offense, he is now being charged with a felony. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 10,000 dollar bond.
