CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Ryan Browning of Kenova officially takes the Oath of Office in the West Virginia House of Delegates in a simple ceremony on Wednesday, July 3.
Browning, who owns a transportation business, was appointed to represent the 28th Delegate District, which encompasses a portion of Wayne County. He will complete the unexpired term of former Delegate Mark Ross, R-Wayne.
Having emerged as the winner of the May primary election for the seat and facing no general election opponent, Ryan Browning expressed his eagerness to begin serving Wayne County in the Legislature.
During the ceremony in the House Chamber, he took the opportunity to familiarize himself with his new role as Delegate, leaning on the expertise of the legislative staff members who were present.
Speaker Roger Hanshaw administered the oath of office, and Browning’s friend Eric Johnson held the bible. Browning is a graduate of Spring Valley High School and WVU Institute of Technology, and he has professional experience in various roles within the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
The details of Browning’s committee assignments and contact information will be available on the West Virginia Legislature’s website at a later date.
