BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Salvation Army is bringing the spirit of the season to life with its festive “Jingle Bus”, transporting seniors and youth to enjoy the dazzling holiday lights at Glade Springs Resort. Filled with music, laughter, and togetherness, the evenings promise joyful singing and a memorable holiday experience for all who attend.
On Tuesday, December 16 at 5:00 p.m., seniors will be treated to a magical night of Christmas lights, caroling, and warm fellowship. The celebration continues on Thuirsday , December 18th with a special evening planned for local youth to experience the same holiday wonder and cheer.
The Salvation Army extends heartfelt thanks to Glade Springs Resort for helping make the season extra festive by welcoming our guests and generously providing free hot chocolate to warm hearts and hands throughout the evening. Their support and hospitality truly embody the spirit of giving that defines the holidays.
“The Jingle Bus is about more than transportation—it’s about connection, joy, and creating lasting holiday memories. Many of these seniros would have no other way to see the lights than on the Jingle Bus,” said Captain Liz. “We are grateful to Glade Springs Resort for partnering with us to bring smiles, songs, and seasonal cheer to our seniors and youth.”
The Salvation Army remains committed to serving the community and spreading hope during the Christmas season and beyond.
