Summersville – Lucas Milam pitched a two-hit shutout over five innings to lead No. 1 seed Nicholas County past No. 4 seed Liberty 10-0 in Class AA Region 3, Section 2 play Tuesday.
Coleton Hellems smacked a double and had three RBIs, while Cain Ferrell had two RBI.
Caleb Burns and Cole Brown had two RBI each and Ira Mylott had a double.
The Grizzlies will now play the winner of No. 2 seed Independence and No. 3 seed Shady Spring Thursday. The Patriots and the Tigers are scheduled for Wednesday after being rained out Tuesday in Coal City.
Liberty will face the loser of Indy and Shady in an elimination game Thursday.
