Greenbrier West will head to the Class A Region 3 tournament as the Region 3, Section 2 champions.
The Cavaliers topped a pesky Charleston Catholic squad, 3-2 Thursday in Charmco.
After dropping the first two sets 25-14 and 25-9, the Irish made it contest by winning sets three and four, 25-18 and 26-24.
West regained the momentum in set five to capture the match with a 15-6 win.
Greenbrier West will play River View Saturday in the regional round, while Charleston Catholic will battle James Monroe.
Regional matches start at 2 p.m. at Charleston Catholic.
