CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), announced her intention to seek reelection to continue serving West Virginia in the United States Senate. Senator Capito’s reelection is endorsed by President Donald J. Trump, who offered the senator his “complete and total endorsement for reelection” earlier this year.

“As I travel across West Virginia, I see the progress we’ve made, accomplishments that I’ve worked hard to deliver for our state and our people.
“I also feel a spirit that’s unique to West Virginians. A desire to keep freedom at the center of our lives and our communities.
“It’s that spirit that first drove me to run for U.S. Senate, to be your voice in Washington.
“To listen to people from every corner of our state, fight for the things most important to them, and defend the values that West Virginians cherish.
“It’s that same spirit that makes me proud and excited to announce that I’m running for reelection in 2026.
