GAULEY BRIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A severe thunderstorm has blown multiple pieces of debris in the road on Gauley Mountain.
A severe thunderstorm moving east rolled through several southern West Virginia counties including Fayette late Sunday morning.
Gusts of over 50 MPH blew multiple pieces of debris into the road on U.S. 60 on Gauley Mountain in Fayette County.
Currently, U.S. 60 near Cathedral Falls on Gauley Mountain is down to one lane due to a fallen tree.
The West Virginia Department of Highways is currently on the scene.
Use caution if traveling in the area.
