GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Service is set to resume at Greenbrier Valley Airport as SkyWest Airlines returns with new flight options, and community members are invited to help mark the occasion with a public celebration at the terminal.
Airport officials say the launch event will take place Tuesday, February 10, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the main terminal. The celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony along with cake and refreshments for attendees.
The restored service will bring back nonstop flights to Chicago and add daily service to Charlotte, significantly expanding travel options for residents and businesses across the region. Leaders say the added routes will improve connectivity, support economic growth, and make regional travel more convenient.
Community members are encouraged to attend and take part in what organizers are calling a milestone moment for the airport and surrounding area.
