New Richmond – Olivia Hylton threw a perfect game, guiding Wyoming East to a 1-0 win over Westside Wednesday night in New Richmond.
The win moves Wyoming East to the Class AA Region 3, Section 1 championship game.
Hylton was stellar for the Lady Warriors in the circle, striking out 13. East needed everything she could give as the Lady Warriors needed a walk-off sac-fly from Maddie Clark to win it all.
Cadence Clay, Makayla King and Savannah Brehm all singles in the bottom of the seventh, loading the bases for Clark who hit a flyball to center that scored the winning run.
Westside falls into the loser’s bracket and will play Bluefield on Thursday in an elimination game.

Paytin Brehm struck our seven batters in three innings as Wyoming East Middle defeated Oceana 15-0 Tuesday night at Oceana.
Kaitlyn Trent collected two hits for the Lady Warriors in the win.
Wyoming East finished the season at 9-1
Huff’s Katy Kennedy, Riley Lester and Kylee Lester, Oceana’s Madeline Brown, Miley Meadows and Cadence Blackburn and East’s Kaitlyn Trent, Emily Stuart and Paytin Brehm were named to the All-Tournament team.
