Bluefield 6, Wyoming East 5
New Richmond – Bluefield took advantage of five Wyoming East errors Wednesday, knocking off the Lady Warriors 6-5 in New Richmond.
With the win Bluefield advances to the sectional championship game where it will face the winner of Wyoming East-Westside on Friday.
Sophia Hall, Izzy Smith and Maddie Lawson led Bluefield with two hits each while Hall notched a pair of RBIs.
Savannah Brehm led East with a two-run home run in the loss.
Princeton 6, Oak Hill 2
Princeton – Princeton pounced on Oak Hill early, beating the Red Devils 6-2 to end their season Wednesday in Princeton.
Riley Riggs and Peyton Agnew notched two hits each for Princeton with Agnew driving in a pair of runs.
Hayden Jones earned the win for the Tigers with 12 strikeouts in the circle, adding a home run at the plate.
Princeton stays alive and will host Beckley Thursday in an elimination game.
