FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Hico man is facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.
Late this afternoon, December 16, 2023, deputies met with an individual at the Sheriff’s Department who claimed his son had shot at him. Deputies were able to gather information from the man who stated he was at his son’s property helping him with a project when the son became angry, brandished a rifle, and fired in his direction approximately 4 times. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the property. The warrant was executed by the Fayette County Tactical Team and Fayette County Detectives.
Christopher S. Marley, 34 of Hico, is charged with four counts of Wanton Endangerment, a felony. Marley was transported to Southern Regional Jail to await further court proceedings.
