WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is in jail after he hurt his mom’s foot, broke the bedroom door by kicking it, and then picked up his mother and threw her to the ground.
According to deputies, on September 10, 2023, they responded to a home in Parkersburg for a domestic call. Once they arrived, they found the victim on the back porch. The victim stated that her son, Tyee Alonzo Gibson, was intoxicated and lying on the bedroom floor.
The mother stated her son had hurt her foot and showed deputies her toe, which was sliced and bleeding. She also noted that Gibson had kicked the interior bedroom door, breaking it. At one point, Gibson grabbed his mother, picked her up, and threw her on the ground. Deputies found Gibson asleep, lying on the bedroom floor.
Gibson is charged with domestic battery. He is being held in Northcentral Regional Jail under a 5,000-dollar bond.
