SOPHIA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Sophia City Fire Department has announced the launch of a new ambulance service that will operate around the clock, providing expanded emergency medical care to the community.
According to the department, the service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring residents have access to emergency medical response whenever needed.
Officials say the fire-based EMS team will offer rapid transport, highly trained firefighter/EMS personnel and reliable, community-focused care.
The department emphasized its commitment to serving the area, stating it is ready to respond when residents need help most.
In addition to emergency response, the service aims to improve overall safety and response times within the community.
