SOPHIA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Sophia Area Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest fire station, located at 463 Robert C. Byrd Drive in Sophia. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. to officially celebrate the opening of Fire Station #115.
