CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The southbound Exit 95 off ramp on the West Virginia Turnpike, which provides access to MacCorkle Avenue and Kanawha City, will be closed overnight on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, for concrete repairs.
The closure will begin at 7 p.m. and last until 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
During the closure, southbound drivers can use alternative exits, including Exit 89 (Marmet), Exit 96 (Belle/Midland Trail), or Exit 98 (35th Street Bridge).
Message boards will be placed along the Turnpike to help guide motorists to the appropriate detours.
The overnight work is scheduled to reduce the impact on daily traffic.
