DANVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Boone County woman is facing charges after a series of disturbances Monday night that ended in the parking lot of the Boone County E-911 Center.
Deputies responded around 8:59 p.m. on March 2, 2026, to a reported issue at the Little General on Smoot Avenue in Danville. While en route, Boone County E-911 dispatchers advised that Sue Bob White had called requesting someone “to pick her up quick.”
When deputies arrived, they determined White was seeking a ride to Charleston and had no medical emergency requiring assistance. She left the Little General parking lot with a dog on a leash and entered the nearby Pizza Hut on Smoot Avenue, where she was asked to leave due to her behavior and bringing the animal inside the restaurant.
Shortly after, around 9:22 p.m., dispatchers received another report involving White at the Danville Go-Mart, also on Smoot Avenue. Authorities say she entered the store with her dog and caused a disturbance, engaging in a loud verbal altercation with a store clerk.
Deputies made contact with White outside the Go-Mart, where she stated she was leaving the area and had a ride on the way.
Minutes later, around 9:25 p.m., dispatchers reported that White had walked into the parking lot of the Boone County E-911 Center. Surveillance footage allegedly showed her crouching behind a dispatcher’s vehicle and appearing to tamper with or attempt to break into it.
When deputies arrived, they observed White near the passenger side door of a black Ford F-150 in the lot. According to authorities, she became belligerent and hostile, speaking loudly in a public area and acting in a manner that caused alarm to others.
The incidents occurred within Boone County. Charges related to the disturbances and alleged tampering are pending.
All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
