MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office is asking two individuals to contact authorities in connection with an ongoing telecommunications copper theft investigation.
According to the sheriff’s office, Matthew Wolford, who is from the Pikeville, Kentucky area, is being asked to get in touch with the department as soon as possible.
Officials said his name and information have come up during the course of a large-scale investigation involving the theft of telecommunications copper.
Investigators are also requesting that Erica Stanley, from the Wharncliffe area, and Jessica Adkins of Williamson, contact the sheriff’s office promptly.

Authorities said their names and information have similarly surfaced as part of the same investigation.
No additional details about the case have been released at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
