LINCOLN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Virginia woman is facing charges after she called 911 and said she had shot someone.
According to State Police, Lincoln 911 advised they received a call from Sharon Gard, who said she had shot someone at an area of Big Creek Road in Sias, WV. When police arrived at the Big Creek area, they located Gard walking on the road. Gard kept telling police that she killed someone.
State Police say they searched the area and spoke to several neighboring people where the incident supposedly occurred but found no evidence of anything.
State Police charged Gard with falsely reporting an emergency incident and obstruction. She is currently in jail under a 1,500 dollar bond.
