MEADOW BRIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man is arrested on drug charges out of Summers County.
On the 21st of February 2021, Deputy J.A. Farmer initiated an investigation regarding some drug-related activity in the Meadow Bridge area of Summers County. During the course of the investigation, deputies with the Summers County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Duncan’s Branch Road.
The search resulted in locating several firearms, Methamphetamine, Heroin, and a substantial amount of Fentanyl was seized. The quantity of raw Fentanyl seized could have caused 500 deaths.
Ashley Toney of Meadow Bridge was arrested in connection with the incident, and further arrests are pending. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
