PIPESTEM, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Summers County Sheriff’s Department announced that it will host a concealed carry class Saturday, July 30, 2022.
The class will take place at the Pipestem Christian Academy gymnasium, and will begin at 9:00am.
Initially scheduled for July 9, the class was postponed Tuesday due to a scheduling conflict.
Registration for the class will be $50 per participant, and payment should be delivered to the Summers County Sheriff’s Office at 123 Temple St. in Hinton. Checks should be made payable to Pipestem Christian Academy.
Those who wish to participate can contact Sgt. Cochran of the sheriff’s department to register, or reach out via the department’s Facebook page here.
Only 50 spots are available for the course, and these will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
Attendees should bring a handgun with 50 rounds of ammunition.
Proceeds from the class will go to Pipestem Christian Academy toward the purchase of a new bus.
