SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Summers County is still seeking poll workers ahead of West Virginia’s Primary Election on Tuesday, May 12, according to West Virginia Secretary of State Kris Warner.
Summers County is among several counties across the state that continue to need additional workers to help staff polling locations on election day.
To qualify, poll workers must be registered voters in Summers County. Those selected will receive compensation for attending a required training class as well as for working on election day.
Polls across West Virginia will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on May 12.
