MEADOW BRIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Summers County woman is facing charges after deputies say she tried to run over a man during an argument, striking a parked truck in the process.
According to the Summers County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call on August 13, 2025, around 3:30 p.m., about a hit-and-run on Alpine Court in Meadow Bridge involving a black Chrysler 300.
Two victims, a father and a son, told deputies that Allison Kirchner had dropped off a neighbor when an argument broke out between her and the son. They allege Kirchner then drove her Chrysler toward the son in the yard of Alpine Court, forcing him to dive behind his father’s red GMC truck to avoid being hit.
In the process, deputies say Kirchner struck the GMC, damaging its front corner panel. Tire tracks in the yard and body camera footage reportedly backed up the victims’ accounts.
Deputies say Kirchner fled the scene after the incident. She could face charges including assault and striking an unattended vehicle under West Virginia law.
No injuries were reported, though deputies say the situation could have been far worse had the victim not moved out of the vehicle’s path.
