SUMMERSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Summersville man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving two juveniles, according to the West Virginia State Police.
Corporal E. E. Bostic began investigating the complaints on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, after two juveniles reported that they had been sexually abused.
Following the investigation, authorities arrested Joshua Spencer, 36, of Summersville, and charged him with sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian.
Spencer was arraigned in Nicholas County Magistrate Court, where his bond was set at $100,000. He was unable to post bond and was transported to Central Regional Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
