BELLEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested in connection with a child abduction investigation which began in October.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, on October 15, 2023, a child abduction was reported on Pond Creek Road.
Detectives with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Preston Dominique Forrester – born July 3, 1991, formerly of 67 Helen Ave, Parkersburg, WV – in connection with this incident.
Forrester was reportedly apprehended on warrants obtained by Wood County Detectives and by the Cadiz Police Department, Harrison County Ohio on charges of Kidnapping/Abduction along with Burglary.
Upon being detained, Harrison was transported back to Wood County for arraignment on the aforementioned charges.
Forrester was arraigned by Magistrate Robin Waters and held on a $100,000.00 bond on the Burglary Charge.
Charges of Kidnapping and Abduction are expected be set by circuit court at an upcoming hearing.
