WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Southern WV Community & Technical College announced congratulations on Monday for its ECA All Stars, a group of high school students who have earned a significant head start on their post-secondary education.
Southern’s ECA, or Early College Academy, program allows students to earn an associate’s degree from Southern WV Community & Technical College while concurrently earning their high school diploma.
In the case of this round of ECA All Stars, they have managed to earn their college degrees prior to earning their high school diplomas.
“These five Early College Academy students will be graduating from Southern WV Community & Technical College a month before they graduate from high school,” read a statement from the institution. “We couldn’t be prouder of your accomplishments!”
