GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A section of Interstate 64 westbound in Greenbrier County will be temporarily closed Thursday to allow for expedited roadway repairs.
According to Greenbrier County Homeland Security & Emergency Management, the closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, between milepost 181 (White Sulphur Springs Exit) and milepost 175 (Harts Run Exit).
During the closure, westbound traffic will be detoured from Exit 181 onto U.S. 60 before re-entering Interstate 64 at Exit 175.
Officials said inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances could affect the project schedule.
The West Virginia Division of Highways apologized for the inconvenience and is asking motorists to obey all traffic control signs and devices, consider alternate routes and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
