It’s officially here!
This week marks the start of the prep football season as games around the Mountain State kickoff on Thursday. To get you ready we’ve assembled preview stories for all 21 area teams. This includes recaps of the 2022 season as well as quotes from coaches on their outlooks for 2023. The area has been massively successful in football over the last six years with three Kennedy Award winners and three different programs playing in a combined seven state title games (Bluefield, Independence and James Monroe).
