BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The LOOTPRESS Pet of the Week is Stache!
Stache was adopted in August of 2016, and can often be found playing with his two brothers and two sisters, or lounging on the furniture in the way one might expect a human to.
His mom’s lap is his favorite place, but the front yard on a nice day is a close second!
We would like to thank everyone who made submissions this week, and are excited to congratulate Stache, the LOOTPRESS Pet of the Week in association with the Humane Society of Raleigh County!
While we certainly wish we could shine a spotlight on each and every pet for which we receive a submission, submissions and resubmissions are always welcome and encouraged, and can be made through this brief form.Â
The Humane Society of Raleigh County will be hosting the Raleigh County rabies clinic at the shelter location on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 8:30am to 12:00pm.
Sponsored by the Raleigh County Assessor’s Office, the clinic offers county residents several options for staying up to date with pet care. Only cash or checks will be accepted, and pricing for the clinic will be as follows:
Dogs

Rabies shot: $9.00
Distemper Parvo Virus shot: $20.00
Bordetella shot: $15.00
Cats
Rabies shot: $9.00
Distemper shot: $15.00
Leukemia shot: $30.00
