BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – West Virginia-based engineering, architecture, and field services firm, the Thrasher Group, has partnered with The Thrasher Group North Carolina to provide support for communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The Thrasher Group North Carolina and the Thrasher Group, engineering companies which share a majority owner, have come together to offer support and resources for the communities of central and western North Carolina, areas which have seen some of the most significant damage in the wake of weather conditions brought about by the hurricane.
“West Virginias known all too well the impact and devastation that flooding can cause, and we are incredibly proud of our team for uniting to support our fellow Appalachian communities in west North Carolina during these dough times,” said the Thrasher Group Director of Marketing and Business Development, Heidi Handley of the disaster relief efforts. “Our hearts go out to everyone affected, and we remain dedicated to aiding in the recovery process.”
The Thrasher Group has mobilized resources from its offices in the Bridgeport and Beckley areas to bring essential assistance to those in need. Multiple U-Haul trucks filled with supplies was recently sent from Beckley to the Thrasher Group North Carolina’s offices in the Gastonia area.
Among the supplies send along were Meals-Ready-to-Eat (MREs), drinking water, baby supplies, and various other necessities which have been distributed to areas impacted the most severely. $10,000 in donations will be distributed throughout impacted areas due to recent relief efforts.
