MOUNT HOPE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Three Mount Hope residents are facing serious charges following a kidnapping investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
On November 29, deputies responded to a reported kidnapping.
They located the individual involved, who initially claimed no incident had occurred.
However, the following day, the same individual visited the sheriff’s department and disclosed that she had been taken against her will after being threatened with weapons.
As a result of the investigation, Hursey A. Milam, 63, Krisy J. Waddell, 42, and Justin R. Craigo, 30, have been charged with felony kidnapping, armed robbery, and conspiracy.
All three suspects are awaiting further court proceedings.
The arrests were made with assistance from the Southern District of West Virginia US Marshal’s C.U.F.F.E.D Task Force.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department reminds the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
