CASS, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The holiday season is arriving early at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park as tickets are now on sale for the 2025 “Christmas at Cass” train excursions.
Visitors can step back in time and experience the magic of the season aboard a steam-powered train traveling along the scenic Greenbrier River. Each festive journey departs from the Cass Depot and lasts approximately 60 to 75 minutes, featuring decorated and heated coaches that capture the spirit of a classic Appalachian Christmas.
Limited seating will also be available inside the historic Chesapeake & Ohio caboose at the rear of the train, offering a unique and nostalgic ride for passengers.
Adding to the excitement, each child on board will receive a special surprise gift, included in the ticket price.
Throughout the event weekend, Cass Scenic Railroad State Park and the Friends of Cass will host a variety of holiday activities and family-friendly events, including visits from Santa Claus.
As night falls, the town of Cass and the nearby Greenbrier River Trail will sparkle with thousands of twinkling lights, transforming the area into a winter wonderland.
A full schedule of “Christmas at Cass” events will be released by the Friends of Cass as December approaches.
