ANSTED, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The Town of Ansted Planning Commission has announced a public hearing and meeting to be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Town of Ansted Council Chambers, located at 104 Cemetery Street(above the Old Police Department), Ansted, WV 25812.
The purpose of the hearing is to gather public input on the Town of Ansted Comprehensive Plan. Residents are encouraged to attend and share their comments, suggestions, or concerns regarding the town’s long-term planning and development initiatives.
Beginning Thursday, April 17, 2025, the draft comprehensive plan will be available for public review at Ansted Town Hall, 30 Rich Creek Road, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The plan can also be viewed online at www.townofansted.com.
Those unable to attend the meeting in person may submit written comments ahead of time by mailing them to Ansted Town Hall, PO Box 798, Ansted, WV 25812, or by emailing ansted.mayor@gmail.com.
Public participation is encouraged as the town works toward shaping its future through this important planning process.
