WASHINGTON, D.C. (LOOTPRESS) – In a post shared on Truth Social, President Donald J. Trump announced that Israel and Iran have agreed to a “complete and total” ceasefire, bringing an official end to what he referred to as “The 12 Day War.”
According to Trump, the ceasefire will begin approximately six hours after his announcement, following the completion of each country’s final military actions.

Iran is set to initiate the ceasefire, with Israel joining 12 hours later. By the 24th hour, Trump said, the war will be officially considered over and will be recognized globally.
He praised both nations for their “stamina, courage, and intelligence” in bringing the conflict to a close, emphasizing that it could have escalated into a prolonged and devastating war in the Middle East.
Trump stated that the ceasefire requires both sides to remain “peaceful and respectful,” and expressed confidence in the agreement’s success.
He concluded the statement with blessings for Israel, Iran, the Middle East, the United States, and the world.
