MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two people have been arrested in connection to the school break-in that occurred at Kermit PK-8 School in Mingo County.
According to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office, two individuals broke into the Kermit PK-8 School in Kermit at approximately 2:30 AM on Tuesday, February 28.
Police say the individuals were inside the school for nearly 30 minutes before they stole money that was collected from a basketball game.
Since then, police have been attempting to identify and locate the suspects which were caught on security cameras.
On March 30, Victoria Ford and Tyler Savage, both of Williamson were arrested by Cpl R. Fitch for entry of a building other than a dwelling, petit larceny and conspiracy in connection.
Both suspects are out on bond.
