CHESTER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two individuals have been arrested in connection to numerous instances of vehicles being ransacked in the Chester area over the weekend.
The Chester Police Department reports that on late Friday night, October 21 into early Saturday morning, October 22, instances of breaking and entering occurred on numerous vehicles in the area.
These thefts are said to have occurred between 12:15am and 1:30am
The vehicles involved reportedly had property stolen from them and two adults are reported to have already been arrested in connection with the string of incidents.
Authorities have asked anyone whose vehicle may have been entered or who may be missing property as a result of the incidents to contact the Chester Police Department through Hancock County Dispatch at (304) 564-4100.
Additionally, the Chester Police Department is actively seeking any existing surveillance footage relating to the incidents.
The department claims to have obtained a number of items from the arrests of the individuals involved which as of yet remain unclaimed.
The Chester PD release does not identify the individuals involved who have since been detained.
Furthermore, the department implores residents to keep their vehicle doors locked.
