LEWIS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man and a woman are facing serious charges after allegedly setting fire to a stolen vehicle in Lewis County.
Dylan McCracken, 38, and Dawn Pietripaoli, 45, both of Lewis County, were arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree arson in connection to a March 16th incident in which a stolen car was found burning in an empty lot in Jane Lew.
Investigators with the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office ruled the blaze was intentionally set. Arrest warrants were executed by the West Virginia State Police and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
Both suspects were transported to the Central Regional Jail in Flatwoods. McCracken’s bond was set at $120,000, while Pietripaoli’s bond was set at $100,000.
