BERKELEY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two men are facing attempted murder charges following a late-night shooting outside a bar that left one person injured.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Angel’s Bar and Grill around 2:28 a.m. on March 29, 2026, after receiving reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers learned that one individual had been shot.
Investigators say surveillance footage revealed that Gabriel Gallourakis and Austin Miller left the bar in a 2005 Nissan Sentra. Gallourakis was driving, while Miller was in the front passenger seat.
Authorities allege the vehicle initially exited the rear parking lot before pulling in front of the business. As the car traveled southbound on Winchester Avenue, multiple shots were fired from inside the vehicle. One of the rounds struck a male patron in the stomach.
The victim was transported to Berkeley Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition.
Deputies in neighboring Jefferson County later located the suspect vehicle and both individuals at a 7-Eleven in Ranson. The car was seized as part of the investigation and returned to Berkeley County for a search warrant.
Both suspects were taken into custody and charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit attempted murder. They are currently being held at Eastern Regional Jail on a $65,000 cash bond.
Berkeley County Sheriff Robert “Rob” Blair described the incident as a dangerous situation that could have resulted in more serious harm. He credited deputies for their quick response and thanked the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for assisting in locating the suspects.
Authorities continue to encourage anyone with information about criminal activity to contact the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
