MOUNT HOPE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two structure fires reported days apart in Mount Hope have been determined to be unrelated, according to the Mount Hope Fire Department.
The first fire was reported late last week during the nighttime hours at an uninhabited residential structure located at 409 Tennessee Street in Mount Hope. Firefighters arrived to find the structure fully involved in flames. No injuries were reported.

A second residential structure fire was reported a couple of days later at 405 Montana Street in Mount Hope. Crews again arrived to find the structure fully involved. One injury was reported in connection with that fire.
In both incidents, firefighters from the Oak Hill, Bradley Prosperity and Pax fire departments assisted Mount Hope crews with extinguishment efforts.
Officials said the two fires have been deemed unrelated.
