PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two parents are charged with child neglect.
According to Princeton Police, on Christmas Morning at around 4 am, officers responded to a fight at home. Â When officers arrived, they could hear Ronald Rasnick Jr. and Joanna Rasnick fighting in front of their daughter. Â Both suspects refused the officer’s commands and had to be restrained. Â Police could smell alcohol; both were slurring their words and screaming.
Police say that there was trash found on the porch, open beer bottles were found under the Christmas tree, along with open bottles of several pills. Â A burnt pan was observed in the kitchen, along with the oven being on. Â A glass pipe used to smoke meth was found. Â The bed was not down for anyone to sleep on in the child’s room.
Both suspects are charged with child neglect, domestic battery, and obstruction. They are in Southern Regional Jail under a 50,000 dollar bond.
