WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – A nearly month-long law enforcement operation in southern West Virginia resulted in 74 felony arrests and the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash, the U.S. Marshals Service announced.
Operation Rolling Waters, carried out by the Southern District of West Virginia CUFFED (Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division) Task Force between Aug. 5 and Aug. 30, also led to the federal indictment of two convicted sex offenders for violations of the Adam Walsh Act.

Authorities reported seizing three pounds of methamphetamine, more than 60 grams of fentanyl, 25 grams of crack cocaine, 13 firearms, and nearly $12,000 in illicit proceeds.
The arrests targeted individuals wanted on felony warrants that included wanton endangerment with a firearm, sexual assault, possession of child pornography, human trafficking, child endangerment, child abuse or neglect, drug trafficking, weapons violations, and probation and parole violations.
Significant arrests included:

Kameron Morris, 21, of Princeton; Kameron Starkey, 19, of Northfork; Kendrick Moore, 25, of Bluefield; David DiNardo, 22, of Princeton; and Brandon Williams, 26, of Princeton. Each was charged with wanton endangerment and conspiracy following an Aug. 17 shooting near Silver Springs Baptist Church in Princeton. Investigators said the incident began as an argument that escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

Casey Geroge Rygh, 46, of Olmstead, Minnesota, wanted for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Rygh, a previously convicted murderer, attempted to flee from a residence on Barger Street in Matoaka but was arrested while armed.

Cory Alan Fout, 31, of Walker, arrested on a federal warrant connected to an ATF investigation involving a prohibited person in possession of firearms.
Agencies assisting in the operation included the U.S. Marshals CUFFED Task Force, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the West Virginia State Police, and sheriff’s offices and police departments from multiple counties.
